Structure and Function of Plant Genes

Our group focuses on developing methods and tools for the integration, curation, management and presentation of information on the structure and function of plant genes.  Specific project areas include manual and computational genome annotation, text mining and computationally assisted curation of gene function, capture of gene function and phenotype data using ontologies, community curation of gene function, and development of new data access tools for researchers with large-scale and custom data needs.
