CONSIDERING JOINING THE LAB?

I welcome your interest in the lab, as any of the following:

Graduate students: At the Carnegie Institution (Plant Biology) we welcome graduate students from Stanford, so please contact me about a rotation project. I can tell you about the research directions/methodologies that we are currently pursuing but I would encourage you to find an area which you find fascinating. Stanford has a wide range of Departments and expertise so interdisciplinary approaches are feasible and encouraged.

Undergraduate students/Volunteers: If you are a Stanford undergraduate or at another University/College and are interested in working or volunteering in the lab, we occasionally have openings. We are happy to train you, particularly if you have an interest in research. We are often looking for students with a background in bioinformatics.

Post-doctoral Associates: Please contact me if you find any projects of particular interest.
